Brief History

Darcel Ranay Gibson is the Vice Chair, Strategy Chair, and Seventh Ward Committeeperson for Easton Area Democratic Committee.

Gibson resides in Easton, Pennsylvania. Gibson attended Allentown Business School in Allentown, Pennsylvania and graduated with an AAS in Accounting. Gibson has been motivated to give back and pay it forward. She volunteers and has implemented open communication with her peers to brainstorm new ideas for collaborative events.  Gibson was the President of University of Phoenix Alumni-Philadelphia for one year.

Gibson enjoyed working at two jobs, but after giving birth to her daughter, Julia Gleason, she wanted something more in life and needed to figure out a way to better herself. In addition to earning higher level recognitions, she conducted an undergraduate thesis on grade school children’s learning skills. Gibson decided to return to school and earned a master’s certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix. While working her full-time job, in 2009, she made the major decision to further her education to obtain a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership at the University of Phoenix. Gibson's dissertation topic will center on how "Trauma Impacts The Performances of Political Organizational Activists."
